Core Principles & Summary
Ekastro is a reflective Vedic astrology guide. All planetary positions are computed via deterministic astronomical algorithms, and all interpretations are generated for personal insight and self-reflection. Ekastro is never a substitute for licensed medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By visiting, registering an account on, or interacting with Ekastro (the 'Service', 'Platform', 'we', 'our', or 'us'), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not access or use the Service.
2. Description of the Service & Methodology
Ekastro computes Vedic natal charts (Kundli) using high-precision astronomical ephemeris data (including Planetary Positions, Rashi, Bhava, Nakshatras, and Vimshottari Dasha periods) combined with artificial intelligence language synthesis. The AI interprets provided astronomical facts; it never invents or alters planetary placements. The service is provided solely for personal insight, cultural appreciation, and reflective exploration.
3. Account Registration & Security
You must be at least 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction) to create an account. You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all birth details (date, exact time, and geographic location) you submit. You agree to safeguard your login credentials and immediately notify us of any unauthorized access to your account.
4. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use Ekastro only for lawful personal purposes. You shall not: (a) scrape, crawl, reverse-engineer, or programmatically extract data or AI models from the platform; (b) probe, scan, or bypass platform security or rate limits; (c) submit birth details or private information of third parties without their explicit consent; or (d) use the service to harass, exploit, or cause psychological harm to others.
5. Intellectual Property Rights
All software, calculation engines, interface designs, brand assets, typography, and foundational interpretive frameworks are the exclusive intellectual property of Ekastro. You retain full ownership of your personal birth data. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access, view, and share your individual charts and readings.
6. Public Share Links & Privacy Controls
Ekastro allows you to generate public share links for select readings or charts. These shared views contain only a privacy-sanitized subset of your reading, exclude your private account details, and are marked with 'noindex' directives to discourage search engine indexing. You retain the right to revoke or disable any public share link at any time from your account.
7. Account Termination & Closure
You may close your account at any time via your Profile Settings. Upon closure, your account is soft-deleted, all active public share links are immediately invalidated, and your personal records are queued for permanent deletion in accordance with our data retention schedule.
8. Limitation of Liability & Warranty Disclaimer
The platform is provided on an 'AS IS' and 'AS AVAILABLE' basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ekastro, its founders, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to decisions regarding relationships, health, career, investments, or emotional well-being arising from your use of the platform.
9. Service Availability & Modifications
Features, calculation models, and platform functionality may change as we improve the service. We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. When updates occur, we will update the 'Last Updated' date. Continued use of Ekastro indicates your acceptance of any revisions.
10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms and your use of Ekastro shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith mutual negotiation or binding arbitration.
